This is a mausoleum in Allegheny Cemetery, Pittsburgh, PA. It caught my eye when walking through the cemetery because I thought the stone used was interesting and Gothic looking. I felt quite sad when I walked around to the front.
Even though the front doors have small fancy shaped cutouts they look like they were replaced at sometime because they are unfinished wood. I suspect this mausoleum was the victim of vandalism at some point because of the chains and metal plates on the doors. They name Dupey is faded, no individual names are listed. My guess is no surviving family (or any that cares) and it sits forgotten and deteriorating . Just struck me as sad to have a rather grand tombstone end up this way.
